Install a new pre-hung 6-panel interior door unit with privacy lockset <br />and door bumper. Prime new door unit with an oil based primer. _ <br />2. Remove the flooring and floor joists. New framing shall span from foundation <br />wall to center girder. Remove existing baseboard and shoe molding. Install 4'K inch <br />molded baseboard. Prime new baseboard with an oil based primer. <br />4. Prepare walls, trim and doors for paint. Repair all damaged areas of <br />sheetrock with filler and tape. Fill all holes and caulk all cracks. <br />Sand new filler smooth and prepare for primer. Clean walls and trim <br />and prime with a Kilz type bonding primer. Paint the sheetrock walls <br />with flat latex paint. Paint the block walls with an approved paint <br />for masonry. Paint the trim and doors with semi-gloss latex paint. <br />All paint to cover completely. _ <br />5. Install new carpet and pad. The carpet to cost not less than $ 14 <br />sq. yd. Install a minimum 6 pound pad. Install metal trim at door <br />opening. Carpet to be properly installed. Color to be approved <br />by homeowner.
