Install 3 inch crown molding in all rooms except living room. Prime <br />the new molding with an oil based primer. Paint the crown molding <br />with semi-gloss latex paint. The paint shall cover completely. _ <br />Living Room: <br />Page 3 <br />1. Prepare the sheetrock walls, block walls and trim for paint. Fill all holes, <br />caulk all cracks and repair all damaged areas before painting. <br />Note: Contractor to prepare all surfaces for paint. Clean and prime <br />with a Kilz type primer. Paint the sheetrock using flat latex paint. <br />Paint the block walls with an approved paint for masonry. Paint the <br />trim with semi-gloss latex paint. All paint shall cover completely. <br />2. Remove the flue and patch sheetrock. Note: Chimney is still <br />being used to vent furnace. Flue must be capped off with a fire <br />proof material to prevent fumes from entering unit. Install all <br />necessary framing and sheetrock and finish smooth. <br />Rehabilitation Specialist to inspect flue before covering with <br />sheetrock. <br />Bathroom: <br />Remove the commode, sinklvariity and tub. Remove the wall <br />covering to the framing. <br />2. Remove the door unit, sub-floor and floor joists. Note: Floor <br />joists maybe doubled in areas where unable to remove. Install <br /># 2 pressure treated matching 2x8 framing. New framing to span <br />from foundation wall to center girder. Install all necessary blocking <br />around tub and commode flange. Install % inch sub-floor and 518. <br />inch under-layment. A permit is required for floor framing. _ <br />3. Install wall blocking for grab bars in the tub/shower area. Consult <br />homeowner for correct height and location. Note: Rehabilitation <br />Specialist to inspect blocking- before covering is installed.
