Replace five (S) damaged vents. Install manual foundation <br />vents. New vents shall be secure and to open and close <br />properly. <br />2. Install four (4) large vent wells on the vent close to ground level. <br />3. Prepare the exterior block for paint. Clean and fill all damaged <br />areas. Caulk all cracks with tube type mortar and latex caulk. <br />Prime block work-with an approved primer for masonry. NOTE: <br />Contractor and Rehab. Specialist to approve block primer before <br />exterior is primed. Paint exterior with an approved paint for <br />block work. All paint shall cover completely. Color-'SW 6249' <br />Storm Cloud <br />4. Install continuous aluminum gutters and downspouts on all <br />fascias. Install over-sized downspouts on the four corners. <br />Note: Gutters shall be properly installed and sloped. <br />Install solid drain tile below grade to both rear downspouts. <br />The drain tile shall terminate with positive drainage away from <br />the unit. Install splash blocks on both front downspouts. <br />Color shall be white. <br />S. Install pressure treated railings and handrails on the front porch. <br />Install handrails on both sides of the front steps. Install 2x2 <br />pickets placed 4" apart per code. All nails and bolts shall be hot <br />dipped galvanized. New railing to be secure and able to withstand <br />200 lbs of pressure per code. A permit is required and must pass <br />inspection. Note: Refer to plan for handrails. Prime and paint all <br />new treated wood with an oil based primer. Paint posts and handrails <br />with semi-gloss latex paint. All paint to cover completely. <br />6. Install a new 9 lite 36 inch exterior door at the side porch. <br />Note: Contractor to cut door to fit opening properly. <br />Install a keyed lockset and double cylinder deadbolt <br />keyed alike. Re-install existing hinges. Install a door sweep, <br />weather-stripping and strike plate for a metal door jamb.
