Remove storm doors from both exterior door units. <br />2. Remove all loose chipping / peeling paint from both exterior metal <br />door frames. Wet sand and feather edges and prepare for a lead block <br />primer approved for metal. Prime both door jambs with a lead block <br />bonding primer. Paint both door frames with semi-gloss latex paint. <br />The paint shall cover completely. _ <br />( NOTE ) <br />Page 2 <br />1. The work shall require the coordination and relocation of personal <br />belongings away from the work area. It is the responsibility of the <br />Lead Paint Contractor to contain all lead dust from spreading throughout <br />the unit. <br />2. All lead paint debris including paint.chips and wood shall be double <br />bagged and goose neck tied in 6-mil poly. All debris shall be properly <br />labeled and disposed of at a Licensed Landfill. <br />3. A copy of the Lead Abatement Contractor's License shall be submitted <br />to the Orange County Housing/Community Development Office. <br />4. All Permits and Applications shall be acquired before work is to begin. <br />Note: A Lead Abatement Permit is required for this work at 216 W. Union St. <br />Hillsborough, NC 27278 <br />All work shall comply with the NC Department of Health and Human <br />, Services- Lead-Based Paint Hazard Management Program. <br />Total
