4 <br /> SOCIAL JUSTICE IMPACT: There is no Orange County Social Justice Goal associated <br /> with this item. <br /> Health Department <br /> 11.The Health Department has received a donation of $10,000 from the Doval and <br /> Theresa Watson Foundation for the Family Success Alliance, to be used for the Zone <br /> 6 Kindergarten Readiness Program. (See Attachment 1, column 10) <br /> SOCIAL JUSTICE IMPACT: The following Orange County Social Justice Goal is <br /> applicable to this agenda item: <br /> • GOAL: FOSTER A COMMUNITY THAT REJECTS OPPRESSION AND <br /> INEQUALITY <br /> The fair treatment and meaningful involvement of all people regardless of race <br /> or color; religious or philosophical beliefs; sex, gender or sexual orientation; <br /> national origin or ethnic background; age; military service; disability; and <br /> familial, residential or economic status. <br /> County Capital Project Ordinance <br /> 12. The County has received donations totaling $3,500 through the Community Giving <br /> Fund for the proposed Southern Campus Veterans Memorial. The funds will be used <br /> for the preparation of a concept plan for the project. This budget amendment <br /> provides for the receipt of these funds and establishes the following Southern <br /> Campus Veterans Memorial Capital Project Ordinance: <br /> Southern Campus Veterans Memorial-Project# 10060 <br /> Revenues for this project: <br /> Current FY 2015-16 FY 2015-16 <br /> FY 2015-16 Amendment Revised <br /> Donations $0 $3,500 $3,500 <br /> Total Project Funding $0 $3,500 $3,500 <br /> Appropriated for this project: <br /> Current FY FY 2015-16 FY 2015-16 <br /> 2015-16 Amendment Revised <br /> Veterans Memorial Project $0 $3,500 $3,500 <br /> Total Costs $0 $3,500 $3,500 <br /> SOCIAL JUSTICE IMPACT: There is no Orange County Social Justice Goal associated <br /> with this item. <br /> FINANCIAL IMPACT: Financial impacts are included in the background information above. <br /> This budget amendment provides for the receipt of these additional funds and increases the FY <br /> 2015-16 budget in the General Fund by $26,060. <br /> RECOMMENDATION(S): The Manager recommends the Board approve the budget, grant, and <br /> capital project ordinance amendments for fiscal year 2015-16. <br />
