He said the cap placed on the <br /> 29 light rail reportedly also affects the train station, as it caps commuter rail. He said he will let the <br /> 30 Board of County Commissioners know the outcome. <br /> 31 John Roberts said the cap is not law yet and it will be on the House floor tomorrow. He <br /> 32 said he does not expect the issue to be resolved tomorrow. He said the cap does not restrict <br /> 33 the train station until, and if, it is passed. <br /> 34 Commissioner Dorosin had no comments. <br /> 35 Commissioner Price reiterated that the grand opening of Cedar Grove Community <br /> 36 Center will take place on June 18tH <br /> 37 Commissioner Rich said the Visitors Bureau and hotels are reporting lost revenue <br /> 38 because of HB2. <br /> 39 Commissioner Rich said she and Commissioner Jacobs attended the Farm to Fork <br /> 40 event, and it was a great event where most everything was composted. She commended the <br /> 41 Solid Waste Department for this impressive effort. She said she and Commissioner Jacobs <br /> 42 were talking about how to make this event more accessible to the public. <br /> 43 Commissioner Pelissier said she participated in the Direct Care Workers Recognition <br /> 44 Ceremony, which was a positive event. <br /> 45 Commissioner Pelissier said she attended a joint public hearing between Go Triangle <br /> 46 and Capital Area Metropolitan Planning Organization (CAMPO), regarding the proposed Wake <br /> 47 County transit plan. She said the overwhelming response was positive. She said CAMPO, <br /> 48 Wake County, Go Triangle, and the Wake County BOCC have adopted the transit plan. She <br /> 49 said Wake County approved a half-cent sales tax to be put on the ballot this fall. She said all of <br /> 50 these updates are very exciting. <br />
