She <br /> 4 said it is hoped that the new slogan will be added to Orange County buses, as well as Chapel <br /> 5 Hill-Carrboro buses. <br /> 6 Commissioner Jacobs asked if the new logo will be used on the sign. <br /> 7 Laurie Paolicelli said the Department of Transportation (DOT) does not have a <br /> 8 preference on the logo. <br /> 9 Laurie Paolicelli showed a DOT "spec" for the sign and showed it to the Board. <br /> 10 Commissioner Rich asked if the Orange County logo or seal will be in color. <br /> 11 Laurie Paolicelli said yes. <br /> 12 Commissioner Burroughs said the public has been involved, and it is time for the BOCC <br /> 13 to move forward on this process. <br /> 14 Commissioner Burroughs said she liked the old logo, but is excited about this process <br /> 15 and hopes it can be finished this evening. <br /> 16 Commissioner Burroughs suggested choosing between slogans #2 and #3. <br /> 17 Commissioner Jacobs asked if having the logo and the phrase on the DOT Sign would <br /> 18 be a bit busy. <br /> 19 Laurie Paolicelli said DOT would insure all would be to scale, and the Board can use <br /> 20 either the seal or logo. <br /> 21 Commissioner Rich said she liked slogans #2 and #7. <br /> 22 Commissioner Pelissier said she liked slogans #2 and #3, but really preferred #2 <br /> 23 Commissioner Price agreed with Commissioner Pelissier. <br /> 24 Commissioner Dorosin said he wished the slogans were more unique.
