Orange County Residents Come First Commissioner Jacobs referred to the inmate amount going up to $100, and asked if the current amount could be given. Bonnie Hammersley said the current inmate amount is $66. Commissioner Jacobs referred to the Administrative Assistant at the Seymour Center and clarified that evening hours had been cut at both senior centers. Bonnie Hammersley said because the Central Orange Senior Center is located next to the Sportsplex, there are temporaries that allow that facility to stay open later than Seymour. Commissioner Jacobs asked if this is indicated in the budget document as it may be perceived as one senior center being advantaged over another. Bonnie Hammersley said there can be a technical amendment in the final adopted budget, to that effect. Bonnie Hammersley said the Functional Leadership Teams' ranking forms can be found in the appendices. Commissioner Burroughs thanked the Manager and her staff for creatively attacking thorny issues of years passed. Commissioner Burroughs said she appreciated the Manager's positive attitude of putting everything on the table to discuss and build upon. Commissioner Burroughs referred to the schools and noted this budget is not what was requested but it is an offering with which to move forward and discuss. Commissioner Dorosin referred to page 7 and various general government studies. He asked if this is located within the budget document. Paul Laughton said the items for the Development Impact and Double Taxation proposed studies will be under the County Manager's tab and the stormwater fee collection will be under the Tax Administration tab. Commissioner Jacobs said historically the budget presentation was a stand-alone presentation with an adjournment and he liked this format better. Commissioner Jacobs said it is refreshing to have a participatory process with the budget. Commissioner Rich said this is the Manager's budget from start to finish and it is different. She thanked Bonnie Hammersley for keeping the Board of County Commissioners involved. Commissioner Price agreed with the previous comments. 5. Consent Agenda • Removal of Any Items from Consent Agenda - Item F by Commissioner Jacobs and Price - Item G by Commissioner Price - Item H by Commissioner Jacobs and Rich • Approval of Remaining Consent Agenda A motion was made by Commissioner Rich, seconded by Commissioner Price to approve the remaining items on the consent agenda.
