Any pecific certifications or <br /> warranties that may be requested by an end user regarding remounts is the end users responsibility and shall be <br /> negotiated between the end user and the supplier/contractor when services are quoted. <br /> 18. REMOUNT ON CONTRACTOR SUPPLIED CHASSIS <br /> Remounts on Contractor Supplied Chassis have been added to Form D as a base bid line item. Bid pricing for this <br /> line item shall include the cost of the chassis plus the removal and reinstallation of the body, only. <br /> Note: Remounting Services are to be performed by an authorized dealer/remounter. REFURBISHED SERVICES <br /> Refurbishing parts/services are to be bid as published options on Form E. These published options are available for <br /> purchase by members separately and independently from associated base line items. The cost cannot exceed <br /> $50,000.00. If quoting refurbishing services where the price exceeds $50.000.00, it must be tied to a base bid line <br /> item(Remounts)listed on Form D. <br /> 20. OPTIONS&ACCESSORIES FOR VEHICLES OTHER THAN AMBULANCES <br /> Offeror shall quote a wide variety of upgrades and accessories to insure that End Users may be able to configure any <br /> purchased vehicle to meet their requirements. <br /> 21. REQUIREMENTS FOR EQUIPMENT OTHER THAN AMBULANCES <br /> Equipment other than ambulances shall be built to standard published OEM specifications for the specific equipment <br /> offered, and must meet the requirements of any applicable federal (FMVSS), state (TxDOT) or local law or <br /> regulation. All emergency vehicles, chassis, modular body equipment, devices, accessories, and electronic <br /> equipment delivered under this contract shall carry the manufacturers' standard warranty for a minimum of 1 year <br /> against defects in materials,workmanship and performance. <br /> 22. COMPETITIVE PRICING <br /> By submission of a response, Offeror certifies that offered pricing is as good as or better than pricing offered to <br /> local government customers individually or thru any other program under normal circumstances. If such is not the <br /> case, Offeror shall explain how offered pricing differs from"best"pricing,and by how much. <br /> 23. RESCUE UNITS <br /> Units shall be in accordance with the latest revision of NFPA 1901. The rescue vehicle, chassis rescue body, <br /> equipment,rescue accessories and electronic equipment to be delivered under this contract shall be standard <br /> commercial products,tested and certified to meet this specification. The vehicle shall comply with all Federal <br /> Motor Vehicle Safety Standards(FMVSS) and United States regulations applicable or specified for the year of <br /> manufacturer. <br /> 24. AWARDS <br /> Consistent with Texas bid award statutes, for each specific Forth-D line item,H-GAC will recommend a single <br /> award to the lowest responsible Offeror.
