Another brand of alternator may be substituted, provided the manufacturer of <br /> the alternator has a local service center and the alternator has been certified by a certified testing authority that <br /> the generating system meets the requirements of KKK-A-1822F. Increase to the capacity of the electrical <br /> system shall grow in accordance to the demand in the final electrical design of the system and the electrical <br /> load thereto. Bidder may list/price <br /> these options individually or provide a catalog specifying the pricing/discount structure. All catalogs must be <br /> identified (name, effective date, year) on Form E. If catalog is submitted, bidder shall provide a copy of this <br /> catalog w/bid. The catalog/retail price book bid shall be the one in effect at the time of bid submittal. In any event, <br /> manufacturers' descriptions, part numbers, and pricing must be provided. Pricing must include installation on the <br /> vehicle when part of original vehicle order. Where one of these options is standard equipment,buyer may choose to <br /> take a credit in lieu of the required option,provided omission of the item does not make the unit non-compliant with <br /> KKK, QVM, AMD, and/or other certifications.
