eo6° ~ ~o° <br />® °"p <br />S i+ <br />°""8 Enc°`~a~ <br />30 <br />Orange Covnty Comprehensive Plan <br />Other assumptions that we would make based on our knowledge of the discussions <br />to date and the information contained in the f2FQ: (1) Phase I of the project, focusing <br />on gathering data and preparing maps, will be the responsibility of staff and is <br />nearing completion; consultant work will focus on the synthesis of the remaining <br />seven Elements, concluding with production of a draft Plan that includes all eight <br />Elements; (2J Citizen outreach (beyond the Advisory Board meetings) has been <br />ongoing, and will continue to be a priority of staff as this project moves to <br />completion, without extensive involvement of this. consultant; (3) Work would be <br />expected to begin immediately on Tasks A and B, which we consider to be mostly in <br />the nature of "reconnaissance;" and (4) The objective would be to have a draft <br />Comprehensive Plan ready for public hearing in fall, 2008. <br />We offer these ideas, above, as our understanding of the tasks and our expectations <br />regarding the role the consultant will play.
