<br />Public l~T~oticc <br />Public Notice is hereby given that the Efland Volunteer <br />Fire Company; Inc. will u~eet on Monday, May 14, 200'7: at <br />the volunteer Fire Department located at 3900 U.S.~~70. . <br />West, Efland, NC, 27243 at 7:30 p.m.;, in a:public hearing <br />pursuant to the requirements of section 147 (f) of the ~:. , <br />Internal Revenue Code of 1986, as amended, on a proposal <br />that~the Lessee enter into aLease-Purchase agreement aiid'~ <br />the ."Code" in order to finance. the acquisitiou.of:::~ .: <br />equipment. The equipment to be financed consist of.a , <br />Fire Engine (the "Equipment") and: will be located ai~the <br />firehouse in Efland, NC. To finance the costs of such <br />equipment and to pay costs and expenses iucidental•to.tlie <br />financing ,the Lessee proposes to eater into the Lease- <br />Purchase:agreement in the maximum aggregate,;prncipai <br />amount of $105,000.00. The Lessee will be required to <br />pay all expenses of the operating, maintaining, and insur- <br />ing the Project and to pay all taxes on the Equipment. The <br />rental payment due pursuant to the Lease-Purchase' agree- <br />ment will be payable and secured by a security interest <br />lien of the Equipment, above here mentioned.
