I was <br /> certified as a Police Firearms Instructor by the National Rifle Association, completed a Federal <br /> Bureau of Investigation Police Firearms Instructor course and I was certified as a small arms <br /> range master by XVIII Airborne Corps running pistol and rifle ranges at Ft. Bragg. I am also a <br /> graduate of the FBI National Academy where there was extensive training in firearms. Currently, <br /> I am a target shooter both Rifle and Pistol. I have taught Firearms Safety and Marksmanship to <br /> police departments, military units and individuals for many years. I hold a BA in Political <br /> Science/History and I am current on firearm capabilities and functioning. <br /> Reasons for wanting to serve on this board: <br /> I think the citizens of Orange County deserve rational and safety conscious policies on the use <br /> of firearms that are within the bounds of current laws with the least infringement on citizens <br /> rights.
