10 <br /> Commissioner Jacobs recommended that the Manager and staff have an internal <br /> discussion about moving services to these community centers, before there is a public <br /> discussion. <br /> Travis Myren resumed the presentation: <br /> Policy Priorities <br /> • Seymour Center- $990,000: Page 29 <br /> o Interior remodel adds 4,000 square feet of programmable space <br /> o Parking lot construction adds 55 paved spaces <br /> o Larger expansion (12,000) square feet possible based on needs expressed <br /> in Master Aging Plan <br /> Seymour Center Site with Parking (aerial map) <br /> Seymour Center Remodel Option 1st Floor <br /> Seymour Center Remodel Option 2nd Floor <br /> Commissioner Jacobs suggested adding parking signage, to allow easier accessibility <br /> for the seniors. <br /> Commissioner Dorosin asked if the $990,000 includes the road shown on the map. <br /> Jeff Thompson said no. <br /> Commissioner Dorosin said he thought all these renovations were to be part of the <br /> expanded campus. <br /> Jeff Thompson said there is an item later in the presentation pertaining to this. <br /> Travis Myren resumed the presentation: <br /> Policy Priorities <br /> • Water and Sewer- $145,000: Page 76 <br /> Continuation Funding <br /> • Buckhorn EDD Ph. 2 Ext. - $4.973 million: Page 80 <br /> o County CIP includes total project costs <br /> o Debt service to be financed with Article 46 funds <br /> o Once constructed, the City of Mebane will own and operate the <br /> infrastructure with no ongoing operating costs for the County. <br /> Efland Sewer to Mebane Buckhorn EDD (aerial photographs) <br /> Continuation Funding <br /> • Hillsborough EDD - Page 82 <br /> o County CIP includes total project costs. <br /> o County and Hillsborough will need a new utility inter-local agreement that <br /> also includes a land use provision. <br /> o Once constructed, the Town of Hillsborough will own and operate the <br /> infrastructure with no ongoing operating costs for the County. <br />
