The petitions and responses are <br /> listed below: <br /> 1) Review and consider a request from Bill Crowther, resident, for the County to refund fees paid <br /> to the County as part of the bridge replacement for the Mountains to Sea Trail. <br /> Response: Manager and Attorney to confer on options. <br /> 2) Review and consider a request from Andrew Dykers, resident, for the County to <br /> establish a new website, linked to the Board of Elections webpage, with a memorable <br /> URL that would provide voters with information and links to candidate websites, provide <br /> a discussion area for candidates, etc. <br /> Response: Clerk's Office to work with Elections Director. <br /> 3) Review and consider a request by Commissioner Rich that the Board consider a <br /> resolution asking the N.C. General Assembly to increase per pupil funding. <br /> Response: Item scheduled for May 5, 2016 Board meeting. <br /> 4) Review and consider request by Commissioner Rich that the Board provide direction to <br /> staff regarding the development of an amendment to allow food trucks. <br /> Response: Planning staff and Attorney have already begun work on amendments. <br /> 5) Review and consider a request by Commissioner Jacobs that the Board receive a <br /> status update on the planned renovation and expansion of the Eubanks Road <br /> Convenience Center. <br /> Response: To be provided as an Information Item. <br /> 6) Review and consider a request by Commissioner Jacobs that the Board discuss <br /> providing direction to staff regarding making all public property open and available for <br /> use by the general public. <br /> Response: Manager to work with staff to develop options. <br />
