I am a native of Chapel Hill and graduated from <br /> Chapel Hill High School, and finished my bachelor s degree in business management from <br /> Shaw University. I am within 4 courses to completing my master s degree. I have worked on <br /> business projects from 3 million dollars to 12 million dollars in the private sector. I ran for school <br /> board in Chapel Hill-Carrboro City School and lost by 208 votes. I was involved in four PTA s, I <br /> have served on the Chapel Hill Board of Adjustment, Carrboro Planning Board and North <br /> Carolina State Executive Democratic Committee, and I have served as the Educational <br /> Chairperson for the NAACP.
