70 <br /> APPROVED 1/21/2016 <br /> MINUTES <br /> BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br /> REGULAR MEETING <br /> December 15,2015 <br /> 7:00 p.m. <br /> The Orange County Board of Commissioners met in regular session on Tuesday, December 15, <br /> 2015 at 7:00 p.m. at the Southern Human Services Center, in Chapel Hill, N.C. <br /> COUNTY COMMISSIONERS PRESENT: Chair McKee and Commissioners Mia Burroughs, <br /> Mark Dorosin, Barry Jacobs, Bernadette Pelissier, Renee Price and Penny Rich <br /> COUNTY COMMISSIONERS ABSENT: <br /> COUNTY ATTORNEYS PRESENT: John Roberts <br /> COUNTY STAFF PRESENT: County Manager Bonnie Hammersley, Deputy Manager Travis <br /> Myren and Clerk to the Board Donna Baker(All other staff members will be identified <br /> appropriately below) <br /> Chair McKee called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. <br /> 1. Public Comments <br /> a. Matters not on the Printed Agenda <br /> Barbara Driscoll, President of the Eno River Association, said the group is celebrating its <br /> 50th anniversary. She said there will be 50 hikes on the Eno River this year, and she hoped the <br /> Commissioners would join them on some of these hikes. <br /> Robin Jacobs, Executive Director of the Eno River Association, thanked the Board of <br /> County Commissioners' (BOCC)commitment and support throughout the years. She said there <br /> will be a celebration of the 50th Anniversary on February 20, 2016. She distributed the <br /> Association's yearly calendar to all of the Commissioners <br /> Chair McKee acknowledged the long-term commitment of the Eno River Association and <br /> thanked them for their work. <br />
