BOCC Retreat Follow-up on the Established Goals and Priorities <br /> 23 Bonnie Hammersley said this is an opportunity to review information and fine tune the <br /> 24 goals and priorities/updates discussed at the January 29th retreat, which she will use as she <br /> 25 moves forward with the operating budget and the Capital Investment Plan (CIP). <br /> 26 <br /> 27 ORANGE COUNTY <br /> 28 Board of Orange County Commissioners (BOCC) <br /> 29 BOCC RETREAT FOLLOW-UP <br /> 30 GOALS AND PRIORITIES <br /> 31 <br /> 32 BOCC RETREAT FOLLOW-UP <br /> 33 Goal 1: Ensure a community network of basic human services and infrastructure that <br /> 34 maintains, protects, and promotes the well being of all county residents. <br /> 35 <br /> 36 1) AFFORDABLE HOUSING (5 VOTES) <br /> 37 • Decent, standard housing options for all residents regardless of household income level. <br /> 38 • Funds to develop targeted number of units (set numerical goal). <br /> 39 • Develop explicit plan to inform bond expenditures and other BOCC affordable housing <br /> 40 funding. <br /> 41 <br /> 42 2) FAMILY SUCCESS ALLIANCE (FSA) (3 VOTES) <br /> 43 • Additional support to expand FSA <br /> 44 • All County departments coordinate with efforts of FSA <br /> 45 <br /> 46 2) COMMUNITY CENTERS (3 VOTES) <br /> 47 • Decentralize community resources through community centers <br /> 48 • Provide food, hot meals, and essential services to residents in need. <br />
