I have also severed the <br /> last 3 years as a volunteer soccer coach with the youth soccer league. I have served on a <br /> conference board where we had to plan and run a one day conference with a budget of over <br /> $20K. I have also had to manage a number of different projects in my professional career, as <br /> well as handle budgets over$1 Million. <br /> Reasons for wanting to serve on this board: <br /> I believe that the recreational opportunities in Orange County serve a large part in making this <br /> county such a great place to live and work. I hope to help the county further develop and refine <br /> the already outstanding offerings we have. I have seen how our offerings have grown and <br /> matured over the last 10 years, but I believe there is still much more that can be done to improve <br /> recreation opportunities in Orange County. <br />
