County Attorney's Report <br /> 11 John Roberts said at the last BOCC meeting that the Department of Environment and <br /> 12 Natural Resources was interpreting new stormwater regulations but they would not apply to <br /> 13 Orange County. He said he has also heard that buffer regulations are being interpreted, and <br /> 14 again Orange County is not a part of that. He said he will forward any information he receives. <br /> 15 <br /> 16 11. Appointments <br /> 17 <br /> 18 a. Animal Services Hearing Panel Pool —Appointments <br /> 19 The Board considered making appointments to the Animal Services Hearing Panel Pool. <br /> 20 <br /> 21 A motion was made by Commissioner Dorosin, seconded Commissioner Jacobs to <br /> 22 appoint the following to the Animal Services Hearing Panel Pool: <br /> 23 <br /> 24 • Appointment to a partial term (position #16) "Animal Services Board Member" <br /> 25 representative for Caroline Green expiring 03/31/2017. <br /> 26 • Appointment to a first full term (position #17) "Animal Services Board Member" <br /> 27 representative for Beth Groom expiring 03/31/2018. <br /> 28 • Appointment to a first full term (position #18) "Animal Services Board Member" <br /> 29 representative for Michelle Walker expiring 03/31/2019. <br /> 30 <br /> 31 VOTE: UNANIMOUS <br /> 32 <br /> 33 Commissioner Price said she had concerns. <br /> 34 Commissioner Dorosin said there are many openings, and the process needs to move <br /> 35 forward. <br /> 36 <br /> 37 A motion was made by Commissioner Dorosin, seconded by Commissioner Burroughs <br /> 38 to appoint the following to the Panel: <br /> 39 <br /> 40 • Marcia Adams to Position #12 —At Large Unincorporated County Position - for a first full <br /> 41 term with an expiration date of 3/31/2019. <br /> 42 • Jean Austin to Position #13 - At Large Unincorporated County Position- for a partial <br /> 43 term with an expiration date of 3/31/2017. <br /> 44 • Cathy Munnier to Position # 14 -At Large Unincorporated County Position -for a first full <br /> 45 term with an expiration date of 3/31/2018. <br /> 46 • Brenda Baldwin Scott to Position #11 -At Large- for a first full term with an expiration <br /> 47 date of 3/31/2018. <br /> 48 <br /> 49 VOTE: UNANIMOUS <br /> 50 <br />
