Additions or Changes to the Agenda <br /> 23 <br /> 24 PUBLIC CHARGE <br /> 25 <br /> 26 Chair McKee dispensed with the reading of the public charge <br /> 27 <br /> 28 2. Public Comments <br /> 29 <br /> 30 a. Matters not on the Printed Agenda <br /> 31 NONE <br /> 32 <br /> 33 b. Matters on the Printed Agenda <br /> 34 (These matters will be considered when the Board addresses that item on the agenda <br /> 35 below.) <br /> 36 <br /> 37 3. Petitions by Board Members <br /> 38 Commissioner Price petitioned staff to work with the Sheriff's office for salary increases <br /> 39 for the deputies and other employees of the Sheriff's office. <br /> 40 Commissioner Burroughs had no petitions. <br /> 41 Commissioner Dorosin had no petitions. <br /> 42 Commissioner Jacobs petitioned the Board to support a resolution in support of the <br /> 43 Charlotte City Council's fight for non-discrimination and to direct staff to look at bathrooms in <br /> 44 County facilities that are unisex and have a changing table. <br /> 45 Commissioner Dorosin suggested an addition to the above petition. He asked <br /> 46 Commissioner Jacobs if he would consider asking the County attorney to investigate supporting <br /> 47 the anti-discrimination ordinance. <br /> 48 Commissioner Jacobs said he is open, within reason, to any ideas that promote <br /> 49 governments standing together. <br />
