Efforts have been made not <br /> only to diversify the presenter/artist base, but also public reach, attendance and <br /> interactivity. <br /> Marketing <br /> Paid advertising - Quantity and frequency will depend on sponsorship income <br /> Posters - 50+ to be posted throughout the Triangle <br /> Postcards - pending sponsorship - distributed to mailing lists via our partners <br /> Internet -Will create a website specifically for this event endeavor <br /> Email -Will send notice to lists via all of our partners <br /> Facebook - will do free and paid posts via partner pages <br /> Twitter - same as with FIB <br /> Pinterest - same as with FIB <br /> Word of mouth <br /> Tourism Enhancement <br /> This event is designed not only to draw a large crowd to the joining point <br /> between <br /> Carrboro and Chapel Hill, hence creating economic benefit via hotel stays, <br /> restaurant outings, shopping and gas purchase, but it is also meant to tie in to <br /> several long-term creative projects: <br /> - Creative Carrboro - development of an arts district on the edge of this event <br /> - Rosemary Imagined — dev't of Rosemary St from Carrboro to Chapel Hill <br /> - Chapel Hill's plans to develop an arts district tying into Creative Carrboro <br /> - 2nd Friday ArtWalk — monthly showcases of the arts in Carrboro / Chapel Hill <br /> Measurements of Success <br /> - Evaluations during and post-event via partners, sponsors, venues and <br /> attendees <br /> - Estimation of attendance numbers (free event) <br /> - Interest from the press <br />
