Action Agenda Item 5, April 17, 2008 <br /> PURPOSE: To receive information on the overall demographics of Orange County employees <br /> and to also receive information regarding how Orange County is currently employing non- <br /> permanent temporary employees. <br /> BACKGROUND: The Board of County Commissioners requested information regarding the <br /> current workforce profile of Orange County and requested follow up information regarding the <br /> current employment of temporary employees. <br /> Workforce Demographics <br /> Orange County Government is committed to equal employment opportunity and affirmative <br /> action to employ and advance in employment qualified women, minorities, protected veterans, <br /> and individuals with disabilities.
