There were <br /> insufficient bidders for the Mechanical contractor,therefore,in accordance with G.5.143-132,the bid <br /> was re-advertised. Bids were received and opened on August 2,1994. The lower bidder, Lawson Electric,must <br /> be considered an unresponsive bid since the bid submitted exceeded the firm's license limit($17,500). <br /> Plumbing work for this project is less than$10,000,thereby,allowing it be consolidated into the work <br /> bid by the general contractor. <br />
