The <br /> amount of the grant is $10,000 to be matched <br /> by Orange County with $35,890 including cash <br /> and $16,850 of in-kind services and materials. <br /> The amount budgeted for consultant services <br /> is $29,040. <br /> The Request for Proposals was distributed in June. By <br /> July 31, four proposals were received. The Historic <br /> Preservation Commission appointed a subcommittee to <br /> review the proposals and make a recommendation to the <br /> full Commission. The subcommittee suggested that two <br /> of the proposals were worthy of consideration, one <br /> from The Jaeger Company of Gainesville, Georgia, and <br /> one from Ramsay Leimenstoll, Architect, of Greensboro. <br /> Copies of the two proposals are included as separate <br /> enclosures. <br /> The Historic Preservation Commission met on August 16 <br /> to discuss the two candidates.
