s <br /> 7 <br /> c <br /> Section 8 Block Grant Program Project Number <br /> Grant Project Ordinance <br /> Be it ordained by the Orange County Board of County Commissioners that pursuant to Section 13.2 of Chapter 159 <br /> of the General Statutes of North Carolina,the following grant project is hereby adopted <br /> Section 1. The project authorized is the Housing Authority project as described in the work statement <br /> contained in the grant agreements between this unit and the U.S.Department of Housing and Urban <br /> Development. This project is more familiarly known as the 1994-95 Section 8 Grant Project. <br /> Section 2. The officers of the County are hereby directed to proceed with the grant project within the grant document <br /> the rules and regulations of the U.S.Department of Housing and Urban Development and the budget <br /> contained herein. <br /> Section 3. The following revenue is anticipated to be available to complete this project: <br /> Exsting $1,648,278 <br /> Moderate Rehab 382,772 <br /> Voucher 507,198 <br /> Total Revenues 538 248 <br /> Section 4. The following amount is appropriated for this project: <br /> Rental Assistance: <br /> Ex sting $1,455,516 <br /> Moderate Rehab 336,624 <br /> Voucher 460,032 <br /> Total Rental Assistance $2,252,172 <br /> Administration: <br /> Edsting 192,762 <br /> Moderate Rehab 46,148 <br /> Voucher 47,166 <br /> Total Administration $286,076 <br /> Total Appropriations 1&538 248 <br /> Section 5. This ordinance supersedes all previous Section 8 Program Grant Project Ordinances. <br /> Section 6. The finance officer is hereby directed to maintain within the Grant Project sufficient specific detailed accounting <br /> records to provide the accounting to the grantor agency required by the grant agreement and federal <br /> and state regulations. <br /> Section 7. Funds may be advanced from the General Fund for the purpose of making payments due. Reimbursement <br /> requests should be made to the grantor agency in an orderly and timely manner. <br /> Section 8. Copies of this grant project ordinance shall be made available to the finance officer for direction in carrying out <br /> this project. <br /> Section 9.
