Chair <br /> Carey has been provided with copies of draft sections and update materials as completed. <br /> The study is the subject of a report scheduled for the Commissioners'August 8, 1994 regular meeting. It <br /> is also the subject of a special public hearing which has been scheduled for August 10, 1994. <br /> Listed below are the recommendations of the Agricultural Districts Advisory Board pertaining to the study <br /> and the proposals contained in it. <br /> 1. Approval of the LESA system as presented for use in ranking farmland for the purchase of <br /> development rights (PDR) program. <br /> 2. That a farmer who has sold his/her development rights be allowed to create one additional building <br /> lot per 25 acres of protected land. <br /> (See the discussion under Question 10 of Section 3.0 -pages 3.18 - 3.20.) <br /> 3. That after 25 years, a farmer will have the right to buy back the development rights at market <br /> value. <br /> (See the discussion under Question 16 of Section 3.0 -pages 3.20 -3.21.) <br /> 4. That at least 80 acres be offered to be eligible for participation in the PDR program. <br /> (See the discussion under Question 9 of Section 3.0-page 3.18. The Advisory Board felt that the <br /> threshhold should be the same as required for participation in the Voluntary Agricultural <br /> Districts Program.) <br />
