The <br /> notification and public hearing measures proposed are <br /> the same as those currently required for designating <br /> historic landmarks. <br /> The proposed amendment was presented at the May 23 <br /> public hearing. No citizen comments were received. The <br /> Board of Commissioners referred the item to the <br /> Historic Preservation Commission for a recommendation <br /> to be returned no sooner than August 8, 1994. <br /> On June 7, the Historic Preservation Commission voted <br /> unanimously to recommend approval of the amendment to <br />
