The statute further states that the <br /> governing body shall promptly initiate any action <br /> necessary to bring jail facilities into conformity to <br /> standards. Corrective action is being taken with the <br /> proposed new jail addition; and Mr. Lewis, Chief, Jail <br /> and Detention Section, has been apprised of current <br /> architectural plans. <br /> RECOMMENDATION: The Manager recommends that the Board of Commissioners <br /> receive the report. <br />
