2 <br /> COUNTY OF ORANGE <br /> NOTICE OF MEETING CHANGES <br /> AND <br /> NOTICE OF SPECIAL MEETINGS <br /> WHEREAS, General Statute 153A-40(a) requires the Board of <br /> County Commissioner to fix the time and place of its regular <br /> meetings; and <br /> WHEREAS, this Board desires to cancel a meeting schedule for <br /> August 11, 1994, and <br /> WHEREAS, this Board desires to change the meeting date for <br /> their October 3, 1994 meeting to October 5, 1994, and <br /> WHEREAS, this Board desires to change the meeting date for <br /> their November 7, 1994 meeting to November 1, 1994, and <br /> WHEREAS, this Board desires to change the meeting date for <br /> their November 22, 1994 meeting to November 15, 1994, and <br /> WHEREAS, this Board desires to hold a Special Public Hearing <br /> on August 10, 1994 at 7:30 p.m. in Superior Courtroom, <br /> Hillsborough, North Carolina for the purpose of receiving citizen <br /> comments on a proposed bond issue to purchase development rights <br /> for farmland preservation, and <br /> WHEREAS, this Board desires to set September 29, 1994 at 7:30 <br /> p.m. at the Homestead Community Center in Chapel Hill for an <br /> Assembly of Governments meeting. <br /> This notice is provided pursuant to North Carolina General <br /> Statute 153-40. <br /> Beverly A.
