Compensation for Basic Services shall include <br /> all compensation due the Consultant from the County for all services under this Agreement <br /> except for any authorized Reimbursable Expenses which are defined herein. <br /> 5.2.1 Basic Services are to be payable as follows: <br /> 5.2.1.1. The total cost to perform the survey of the mobile home parks in Orange County <br /> will not exceed Seventeen Thousand Dollars ($17,000). <br /> 5.2.1.2 The total cost to perform services to aid in the preparation of the Orange County <br /> Affordable Housing Strategic Plan shall not exceed Ten Thousand Dollars ($10,000). <br /> 5.2.1.3 The hourly rate shall be $150 for Walter Haglund and $85 for Jonathon Russell. <br /> 5.2.2 Payment for Basic Services shall become due and payable in direct proportion to <br /> satisfactory services performed and work accomplished. <br /> 5.3 Compensation for Reimbursable Expenses. Reimbursable Expenses are in <br /> addition to the fees for Basic Services and are for expenditures to the extent reasonable and <br /> actually incurred by Consultant with respect to the Project: <br /> 5.3.1 The County will reimburse the Consultant for actual expenses incurred for travel, <br /> meals, and printing costs. <br /> 5.3.1.1. Any additional charges not specified herein must not exceed total compensation <br /> and must be mutually agreed upon by both Parties in advance and documented in writing with a <br /> letter signed by authorized representatives for each Party. <br /> 5.3.1.2. The Provider shall not be entitled to any mark-up on actual expenses incurred. <br /> 5.3.1.3. Reimbursable expenses shall be compensated by the County along with invoices <br /> for Basic Services provided by Consultant. Payment of Reimbursable Expenses shall be subject <br /> to Consultant's timely submission of valid receipts for any such expenses and approval by the <br /> Client. <br /> ARTICLE 6 RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE COUNTY <br /> 6.1 Cooperation and Coordination <br /> 6.1.1 The County has designated Housing, Human Rights and Community Development <br /> Director to act as the County's representative with respect to the Project and shall have the <br /> authority to render decisions within guidelines established by the County Manager and the <br /> County Board of Commissioners and shall be available during working hours as often as may be <br /> reasonably required to render decisions and to furnish information. <br /> Revised 1/16 <br /> 4 <br />
