Secure Our Schools — OCS Surveillance Equipment <br />Grant Project Ordinance <br />Be it ordained ��e O�nge Cou�B���Cou��0m�ione���pu�ua����n13`2� <br />(�haptgr158of' the General Statutes of North Carolina, the following grant project iahonab«mdootad. <br />Section 1. The project authorized is the Secure Our Schools — OC|S GWnvei||eOca Equipment <br />Grant. The C)[gnga County Sheriffs Depa[tment, in collaboration with the Orange <br />County Gchoo|o, applied for and received a Secure Our Schools grant totaling <br />$142.600. This grant requires o 50 percent match, and Orange County Schools has <br />agreed to cover the required match. This grant program provides funding to purchase <br />and `install surveillance equipment at all school buildings within the (]range County <br />School District. <br />Section 2. The officers of the County are hereby directed to proceed with the grant project within <br />the grant document and the budget contained herein. <br />Section 3. The following revenue is anticipated to be available to complete this project: <br />Secure Our Schools Grant $142.660 <br />Orange County Schools Match /2005-06> $155,865 <br />Total $298,525 <br />- <br />Section 4. There is no required County match for this grant <br />Section 5. The finance officer in hanah» directed to maintain within the grant project specific detailed <br />accounting records to provide the accounting to the grantor agency required by the grant <br />agreement and federal and state regulations. . <br />Section 7. Copies of this grant project ordinance ehm|| be made available to the finance officer for <br />direction in carrying out this project. <br />Section 8. There are no positions authorized through this grant project urdinonms <br />Section 9. This project ordinance is in effect until June 30, 2008. <br />Adopted this 26th day of June 2007. <br />
