Adult Care Home Community Advisory Committee —Appointment <br /> The Board considered making an appointment to the Adult Care Home Community <br /> Advisory Committee. <br /> A motion was made by Commissioner Pelissier, seconded by Commissioner Price to <br /> appoint the following to the Adult Care Home Community Advisory Committee: <br /> Appointment of Willian Lang to a one year training term (Position #9) At-Large expiring <br /> 01/21/2017. <br /> VOTE: UNANIMOUS <br /> b. Arts Commission —Appointment <br /> The Board considered making an appointment to the Arts Commission. <br /> A motion was made by Commissioner Price, seconded by Commissioner Rich to <br /> appoint the following to the Arts Commission: <br /> Appointment of Jen Rogers to a first full term (position #1) At-Large expiring 03/31/2018. <br /> VOTE: UNANIMOUS <br /> 12. Board Comments <br /> Commissioner Pelissier had no comments. <br /> Commissioner Price had no comments. <br /> Commissioner Dorosin had no comments. <br /> Commissioner Burroughs complimented the Adult Care Home Community Advisory <br /> Committee, noting she has recently experienced their excellent work firsthand. She hopes the <br /> Board can advocate supporting this Committee and its work. <br /> Commissioner Rich said Robert Seymour spoke at their Visitor's Bureau meeting, <br /> where he shared many great ideas. She said the Visitor's Bureau is doing well. <br /> Commissioner Rich asked if any follow up is done with citizens that share public <br /> comments at meetings, and asked if they are informed when topics are going to recur in <br /> agendas. <br /> Chair McKee said he has asked staff to draw up an OpEd on the revaluation for media <br /> blitz. He encouraged the Board to forward any other ideas for publicity of the revaluation to <br /> the Manager. <br /> 13.
