This budget amendment <br /> provides for a fund balance appropriation of $22,000 from the General Fund for the <br /> transfer of these funds from the drug fund account to the Sheriff's departmental <br /> recurring capital account for the purchase of this unit. (See Attachment 1, column 10) <br /> SOCIAL JUSTICE IMPACT: The following Orange County Social Justice Goal is <br /> applicable to this agenda item: <br /> • GOAL: CREATE A SAFE COMMUNITY <br /> The reduction of risks from vehicle/traffic accidents, childhood and senior injuries, <br /> gang activity, substance abuse and domestic violence. <br /> FINANCIAL IMPACT: Financial impacts are included in the background information above. <br /> RECOMMENDATION(S): The Manager recommends the Board approve budget, grant, and <br /> capital project ordinance amendments for fiscal year 2015-16. <br />
