26 <br /> • Input in and review of the Five Year Consolidated Plan and Annual Action <br /> Plan <br /> • Review of the Analysis of Impediments <br /> • Educating the Community on Affordable Housing Needs, Resources <br /> Required and How it is Connected to the Vitality of the County <br /> • Supporting inclusion of$10 million for Affordable Housing in the Bond <br /> Referendum planned by the BOCC for 2016; the AHAB is pleased that the <br /> BOCC included at least five million <br /> expanding supply Assess initiatives associated with ex <br /> • p g pp Y of affordable mobile <br /> homes <br /> List of Specific Tasks, Events, or Functions Performed or Sponsored <br /> Annually. <br /> • Prepare the Annual Performance Report/Calendar <br /> • Monitor the Affordable Housing Bond Program <br /> • Conduct an Affordable Housing Bus Tour <br /> • Review outside funding requests/applications from organizations providing <br /> housing services <br /> • Educating the community on affordable housing needs, trends and <br /> resources and related partnerships with the towns, public agencies, <br /> nonprofits, civic and for profit organizations <br /> Describe this board/commission's activities/accomplishments in carrying <br /> out BOCC goal(s)/priorities, if applicable. <br /> The AHAB advises on and supports BOCC affordable housing initiatives, goals <br /> and priorities and conducts community outreach to obtain and share resident <br /> concerns, comments and ideas for increasing the supply and preserving the <br /> existing stock of affordable housing to meet the broad range of needs throughout <br /> the County. <br /> Describe the collaboration,relationship(s) this particular board has with <br /> other advisory boards and commissions? <br /> '4r <br /> This Board works closely with the Orange County Housing Authority Board. The <br /> Affordable Housing Advisory Board was very involved in the development of the <br /> Housing Element and have thoroughly reviewed the goals of the Housing <br /> Element of the Comprehensive Plan and reported on agency accomplishments in <br /> support of these goals. The Board plans to continue to pursue the opportunity to <br /> work collaboratively with the Planning Board to assess progress. The Board also <br /> looks forward to working with the Human Relations Commission in implementing <br /> the Analysis of Impediments. <br />
