Year-To-Date Budget <br /> Summary <br /> PURPOSE: To approve budget ordinance amendments for fiscal year 2015-16. <br /> BACKGROUND: <br /> Health Department <br /> 1. The Health Department has received the following additional revenues: <br /> • An additional $1,000 from the North Carolina Association of County <br /> Commissioners (NCACC) and the Local Government Federal Credit Union <br /> (LGFCU) to be used to purchase additional doses of Naloxone to be distributed to <br /> law enforcement and emergency medical services (EMS). <br /> • An additional $16,000 from North Carolina Division of Public Health Oral Health <br /> Section to be used to help create a strong oral health team and expand the <br /> Fluoride Mouth Rinse program and Dental Sealant Project in Orange County. <br /> • An additional $1,500 from the Delta Dental Foundation to be used to purchase <br /> pediatric supplies for the dental clinic and printing of pediatric dental health <br /> materials. <br /> This budget amendment provides for the receipt of these additional funds. (See <br /> Attachment 1, column 1) <br />
