<br /> Gary Donaldson said Orange County is in a strong fiscal position. He said the Board
<br /> policy for the fund balance is 17%, and there is currently 18.5%. He said he would return to the
<br /> Board seeking direction for this excess fund balance.
<br /> He referred to the Report to Residents at their places and reviewed some of the 2014-
<br /> 2015 metrics in the report.
<br /> Commissioner Burroughs asked if last year's additional fund balance amount was
<br /> known.
<br /> Gary Donaldson said it was about$2.5 million.
