Promises were <br />made to the residents of Churton Grove and they need to be fulfilled. 1 hope as a county <br />representative, you look out for our interests and keep Orange County known for all <br />the good things it has done. <br />John Michos <br />618 Churton Grove Blvd., Hillsborough, NC <br />Sa, fety Concerns <br />1. Required lighting not provided in active recreation area <br />2. No Pedestrian cross walks across Churton Grove Boulevard near clubhouse <br />3. No Sidewalks on Clubhouse property <br />4. Unprotected tall retaining wall. <br />5. Open sewer pipes <br />6. CCA treated lumber at tot lot <br />7. Metal drainage grate in play area <br />Missing Amenities <br />l . Walking paths -only 1.05 miles of 2.35 miles of paths have been built in phases I, II and III <br />2. Creek trails--walking/riding paths along both sides of Nancy Hill Creek <br />3. Pedestrian bridges--two pedestrian bridges one at either end on Nancy Hill Creek <br />4. Waking paths--only 1.05 miles of the 2.35 miles of path have been built in phases I-III <br />5. Inadequate amount of open space and recreation area <br />6. Second tennis court <br />7. Picnic tables <br />8. Grills <br />9. Picnic shelter <br />10. Bicycle rack at clubhouse <br />11. Shade structure at tot lot <br />12. No play area for elementary and middle school children (to age 14) <br />13. Recreation facilities in Braddock Park <br />Landscaping <br />
