2 <br /> An analysis was conducted by staff to determine the number of parcels of property affected by <br /> the insurance district expansion. There will be 88 parcels with 100 addressable structures that <br /> will be added to the East Alamance Fire Insurance District as shown on the attached map. <br /> The parcels are shaded in green on the attached map. Black dots on the map indicate <br /> addressable structures not currently in the insurance district. <br /> FINANCIAL IMPACT: The approval of this item has no financial impact on the County. This is <br /> an administrative action only and no changes in fire protection services, service delivery or fire <br /> tax rates will be reflected by this action. Upon Board and Department of Insurance approval, <br /> property owners between five and six road miles from their respective fire station will be eligible <br /> for lower insurance premiums. <br /> RECOMMENDATION(S): The Manager recommends that the Board approve the attached <br /> East Alamance Fire Insurance District Map for insurance purposes only. <br />
