Box 8181 <br />Hillsborough, NC 27278 <br />Dear Chair Carey: <br />Subject: Board Appointment <br />The Orange Coiuzty Advisory Board on Aging reviewed the applicants for the vacant <br />position of Town of Hillsborough resident. At the September 12t1i meeting of the <br />Advisory Board, the members recommended Mrs. Mariah McPherson for consideration <br />to the Aging Advisory Board. <br />As the County Commmissioners are well aware, Mrs. McPherson has vast experience in <br />serving on many volunteer boards dating from the 1950's to present. Some of the boards <br />are Capital Needs Advisory Task Force, Htunan Relations Cormnission, Master Aging <br />Plan Taslcforce-Steering Committee, Central Orange Senior Center Design Committee, as <br />well as two terms on the Advisory Board on Aging. <br />Mrs. McPherson has agreed and is eligible to serve another term, if appointed, to the <br />Aging Advisory Board. <br />Thank you for your consideration of her nomination. <br />Respectfiilly submitted, <br />Jack Chestnut, Chair <br />Orange County Advisory Board on Aging <br />
