- Attachment 2 <br /> A RESOLUTION AMENDING <br /> THE 2030 COMPREHENSIVE PLAN <br /> WHEREAS, on June 27, 2006 the Board of County Commissioners <br /> adopted the Efland-Mebane Small Area Plan which contains a recommendation <br /> to re-evaluate the Critical Area watershed line associated with Seven Mile Creek, <br /> and <br /> WHEREAS, County staff has analyzed the Upper Eno Watershed and the <br /> Critical and Protected areas contained therein, and <br /> WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners desires to continue <br /> protection of water supply watersheds to a greater standard than is required by <br /> State of North Carolina Rules, <br /> NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Commissioners of <br /> Orange County, North Carolina, that Chapter 5 of the Land Use Element of the <br /> 2030 Comprehensive Plan is hereby amended by adding (indicated by <br /> underlined language in red) and deleting (indicated by stricken through language <br /> in red) text as contained in this Attachment and amending the boundaries of the <br /> watershed critical area overlay districts depicted on the Land Use Element Map. <br /> Upon motion of Commissioner /' :G?!''-�—� , seconded by <br /> Commissioner <br /> -="'� �_' ' the foregoing 2030 <br /> ;_, , <br /> 7 <br /> Comprehensive Plan amendments were adopted this the _� day of <br /> _ ;✓ . 2010 and shall become effective upon adoption. <br /> / <br /> Donna aker, Clerk, Orange County Commissioners <br /> 17aa 52 <br /> prtn <br />
