We have <br />reviewed the proposals and recommend award of the contact to the low bidder, LeChase <br />Construction Services. LLC, as follows: <br />Base Bid $2,227,900. <br />Altemate I -deduct (,24.630.) <br />Altemate 2 -deduct (35, 180.) <br />Altemate 3 - no change 0. <br />Alternate 5 - no change 0. <br />:: ~ :• - •~ ~~ TOTAL $2, 168,090. <br />_.,, _ ,. The recommended Alternates I ,2,3 and 5 .provide for various uses of wood material reclaimed <br />from buildings Orange County has deconstructed in recent years. The only Alternate not <br />recommended for acceptance, Alt. 4, required reclaimed wood as structural members in <br />engineered wood roof trusses.
