Please note, the cost of our <br />services is directly related to the project schedule and the number of visits made to the project for <br />testing and observatian sen~ices. ~~~e have no control aver the project schedule and are on site <br />only when requested. The project will be invoiced on a time and materials basis for actual tivork <br />performed in accordance with the attached unit rate schedule. <br />Our oftice in Hillsborough is located just a few hundred feet Pram the project site. This local <br />presence allows us timely response with on-site consultation and can result in substantial savings <br />both in travel time and mileage charges. Our clase proximity also gives us the ability to quickly <br />react to last miliute scheduling tliat occurs from time to time on construction projects. <br />Based on our experience with projects of similar scope, Summit estimates the cost for <br />construction materials testing and observation services to be ~ 8,000.00. <br />SUMMARY COMMENTS <br />The philosophy of Summit Consulting Engineers is to maintain a high standard of quality in the <br />performance of our engineering, testing, and inspection functions.
