ORANGE COUNTY <br />BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />ACTION AGENDA ITEM ABSTRACT <br />Meeting Date: October 9, 2007 <br />Action Agenda <br />Item No. °~ <br />SUBJECT: Change in BOCC Regular Meeting Schedule for 2007 <br />DEPARTMENT: County Commissioners PUBLIC HEARING: (Y/N) No <br />ATTACHMENT (S): <br />INFORMATION CONTACT: <br />Donna Baker, 245-2130 <br />PURPOSE: To consider one change in the County Commissioners' regular meeting calendar <br />for year 2007. <br />BACKGROUND: Pursuant to North Carolina General Statute 153A-40, the Board of County <br />Commissioners must fix the time and place of its meetings or provide a notice of any change in <br />the Regular Meeting Schedule. <br />The Board will consider amending its regular meeting calendar by adding <br />a dinner meeting/ work session with the Board of Health on Tuesday, <br />November 13, 2007 at 5:30 p.m. (prior to the 7:30pm work session) at <br />the Link Government Services Center, 200 South Cameron Street, in <br />Hillsborough, NC. <br />FINANCIAL IMPACT: NONE <br />RECOMMENDATION (S): The Manager recommends that the Board amend their <br />regular meeting calendar by adding a dinner meeting/ work session with the Board <br />of Health on Tuesday, November 13, 2007. at 5:30 p.m. (prior to the 7:30pm work <br />session) at the Link Government Services Center, 200 South Cameron Street, in <br />Hillsborough, NC. <br />
