Mebane Planning Board —Appointment <br /> The Board considered making an appointment to the Mebane Planning Board. <br /> A motion was made by Commissioner Price, seconded by Commissioner Burroughs to <br /> appoint the following to the Mebane Planning Board: <br /> • Thomas Fenske for an additional term (Position #1) "Extraterritorial Jurisdiction" for <br /> expiring 06/30/2019. <br /> VOTE: UNANIMOUS <br /> e. OPC Oversight Board —Appointments <br /> The Board considered making appointments to the OPC Oversight Board. <br /> A motion was made by Commissioner Price, seconded by Commissioner Pelissier to <br /> appoint the following to the OPC Oversight Board: <br /> • Mary Cay Corr to a second full term (Position #1) BOCC Designee expiring <br /> 06/30/2018. <br /> • Jesse Brunson to a first full term (Position #2) Consumer or Family Member <br /> representative expiring 06/30/2018. <br /> VOTE: UNANIMOUS <br /> f. Board Comments <br /> Commissioner Rich said she heard a discussion on WCHL with the Department on <br /> Aging. She said it was good conversation about the diversity at the County senior centers. <br /> Commissioner Pelissier attended the Nursing Home Advisory Committee meeting, and <br /> she was very impressed with this board and its members' dedication. <br /> Commissioner Dorosin said he had no comments. <br /> Commissioner Burroughs said she had no comments. <br /> Commissioner Price said she visited the Rogers Road Community Center Halloween <br /> event and it was nice to see the community center being used by so many groups of people. <br /> Chair McKee attended the press conference at the Lincoln Center about the <br /> achievement gap and has been invited to speak to the Southern branch of the Orange County <br /> National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) on Saturday, <br /> November 7th. <br /> 13.
