We do not live on our farm. We <br /> live 2 miles down the road from our farm at 5407 Spring House Lane, Chapel Hill, NC. <br /> We have been farming at our farm for 5.5 years. <br /> 3. How many acres on your farm are under cultivation? 1.5 acres (estimate) <br /> 4. What are the major crops you plant each year? <br /> Muscadine grapes; shiitake mushrooms; blueberries; strawberries; asparagus; annual <br /> vegetables including kohlrabi, radishes, onions,turnips,tomatoes,squash, lettuce,swiss chard, kale, <br /> mustard, arugula, beets, carrots,Irish potatoes,sweet potatoes, peanuts, eggplant,okra, peppers, beans, <br /> peas, cucumbers, edamame,Asian greens. <br /> 6. How many acres on your farm are used for pasture? _0_acres (estimate) <br /> 7. How many acres on your farm are used for woodland/forestry? 7 acres wooded of <br /> which 0.1 acres is used for agricultural purposes (estimate). Seven of our 10 acres are <br /> woodland. We only use a small fraction of the woodland for agricultural purposes--- <br /> i.e., as space to house our shiitake mushroom cultivation operation. <br /> 8.
