Minutes <br /> The Board approved the minutes for the September 8, 2015 BOCC Quarterly Public Hearing; <br /> the September 10, 2015 BOCC Work Session; and the September 15, 2015 BOCC Regular <br /> Meeting as submitted by the Clerk to the Board. <br /> b. Approval of Amendment to Service Agreement for Senior Lunch Caterer Contract with <br /> Nantucket Grill, Inc. <br /> The Board approved an Amendment to Services Agreement for the food service caterer <br /> contract with Nantucket Grill, Inc. to provide noon meals for the Home and Community Care <br /> Block Grant-funded Senior Lunch Program at the Seymour and Central Orange Senior Centers <br /> for the period July 1, 2015 to June 30, 2016, and authorized the County Manager to sign the <br /> Amendment and to approve any amendments or renewals of the contract. <br /> c. Republication of the Unified Development Ordinance as the Code of Technical <br /> Ordinances of Orange County, North Carolina <br /> The Board adopted and authorized the Chair to sign the Resolution of Republication and <br /> create the Code of Technical Ordinances of Orange County, North Carolina to be housed and <br /> maintained in the Orange County Planning Department and made available on the Orange <br /> County website. <br /> d. Board of Commissioners Meeting Calendar for Year 2016 <br /> The Board approved the final schedule of regular meetings for the year 2016. <br /> 7. Regular Agenda <br /> a. Acceptance of an Administration For Community Living and Alzheimer's Disease <br /> Initiative Grant and Approval of Budget Amendment#2-C <br /> The Board considered accepting an Administration For Community Living and <br /> Alzheimer's Disease Initiative three year grant of$897,298 for the grant period of September <br /> 2015 through August 2018, authorizing the Manager to sign the documents associated with <br /> the grant award, and approving Budget Amendment#2-C which includes the receipt of the <br /> $897,298 in grant funds and the addition of 2.625 full-time equivalent (FTE) time limited grant <br /> positions. <br /> Janice Tyler, Orange County Department on Aging Director, said the Board is being <br /> asked to accept this grant in the amount of$897,298, and she provided background on the <br /> grant: <br /> BACKGROUND: <br /> This award given to the Orange County CARES (Community Awareness, Respite, <br /> Educations and Support) program was one of eleven awarded across the nation and the only <br /> one in North Carolina. The funds will enable the Department on Aging to expand services and <br /> supports for caregivers and persons with Alzheimer's Disease and Related Dementias <br /> (ADRD), including those with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD), so they will <br /> enjoy improved health and quality of life while also reducing caregiver burden and social <br /> isolation. <br /> The grant will be used to enhance Orange County's ability to be a fully dementia capable <br /> community and will focus on the following objectives: <br />
