Surveying at remote locations may be for <br /> solid waste recycling facilities or other facilities as required for the Solid Waste Management <br /> Department to accomplish their mission. <br /> The term of the agreement for surveying services will be three years, with an option for an additional <br /> two three year terms. It is anticipated that 50 to 80 hours of surveying services will be required <br /> annually and that about 75 percent of the time will be fieldwork. All work products shall become the <br /> property of Orange County. <br /> All proposals should address the attached Scope of Work, and include at a minimum, the following <br /> information: <br /> • General information regarding your firm and its capabilities/qualifications to carry out <br /> the stated scope of work; <br /> • A discussion of your staffing and their experience, typical response time/availability to <br /> respond to request for surveying services, and the surveying equipment available to <br /> your firm; <br /> • A copy of your standard billing rates. This is requested for comparison and is not a <br /> cost quote. Costs will be negotiated with the successful firm following review of the <br /> proposals and determination of the firm's qualifications; <br /> • Any other information pertinent to your submittal of a proposal. <br /> Scope of Services <br /> The Surveyor shall provide the following services at a minimum fdr the Orange County Solid Waste <br /> Management Department as requested: <br /> 1. Conduct surveys of permitted solid waste disposal facilities, other county owned property or <br /> other property as designated by the department. <br /> 2. Prepare topographic drawings, plats or boundary surveys of properties. <br /> Page 1 of 8 <br />
