Further, AOC must measure the impacts of the <br />state's additional funding, including performance measurements and caseload standards (Sec. 14.18). <br />Natural and Economic Resources <br />Funds are provided for the Agricultural Development and Farmland Preservation Trust Fund to preserue the <br />state's farmland and to protect natural resources, wildlife habitat and water resources. The budget establishes a <br />UNC cancer research fund, funded in part from an increase in the tobacco products (10% of the cost price, <br />excluding cigarettes) and eight million in Tobacco Trust Funds (Sec. 6.23).
