8 <br /> 1 week staffing in conjunction with Orange County. He said this offers greater consistency within <br /> 2 the system. <br /> 3 Chief Sullivan said smoke alarm companies have been contacted regarding recycling <br /> 4 smoke alarms. He said smoke alarms could be returned to the original company where they will <br /> 5 be recycled. <br /> 6 Chair McKee asked Bonnie Hammersley to check with solid waste to see if Orange <br /> 7 County can participate in the recycling process. <br /> 8 Chief Williams said she had already made this contact, and there was concern about the <br /> 9 ionization in the alarms. She said these types of alarms could be disposed of directly, but <br /> 10 probably not recycled. <br /> 11 Chair McKee said he would still like for solid waste to look into this as well. <br /> 12 Jim Groves said the Fire Marshal could work with Gayle Wilson at Solid Waste. <br /> 13 <br /> 14 A motion was made by Commissioner Burroughs, seconded by Commissioner Price to <br /> 15 add a closed session for the purpose of: Per 143-318.11(a)(3), "To consult with an attorney <br /> 16 employed or retained by the public body in order to preserve the attorney-client privilege <br /> 17 between the attorney and the public body" <br /> 18 <br /> 19 VOTE: UNANIMOUS <br /> 20 <br /> 21 CLOSED SESSION: <br /> 22 <br /> 23 A motion was made by Commissioner Pelissier seconded by Commissioner Burroughs <br /> 24 to go into closed session at 8:45 p.m. for the purpose of: Per 143-318.11(a)(3), "To consult with <br /> 25 an attorney employed or retained by the public body in order to preserve the attorney-client <br /> 26 privilege between the attorney and the public body." <br /> 27 <br /> 28 VOTE: UNANIMOUS <br /> 29 <br /> 30 RECONVENE INTO REGULAR SESSION <br /> 31 <br /> 32 A motion was made by Commissioner Burroughs seconded by Commissioner Pelissier <br /> 33 to reconvene the meeting into regular session at 9:40 p.m. <br /> 34 <br /> 35 VOTE: UNANIMOUS <br /> 36 <br /> 37 ADJOURNMENT <br /> 38 A motion was made by Commissioner Burroughs seconded by Commissioner Price to adjourn <br /> 39 the meeting at 9:40 p.m. <br /> 40 <br /> 41 VOTE: UNANIMOUS <br /> 42 <br /> 43 <br /> 44 Earl McKee, Chair <br /> 45 <br /> 46 Donna Baker, Clerk to the Board <br /> 47 <br /> 48 <br /> 49 <br />
